What is mymimu?
mymimu is an online gallery where you view a child's drawings as if walking through a real museum. Upload a work and it hangs in one of six themed exhibition rooms; family and friends visit from a single link — no account — and leave notes and gifts.
Is mymimu free?
Yes, everything is free. There is no limit on children, works, or the six concepts, and the authenticity certificate is issued and verified at no cost. mymimu is funded by the small digital gifts a visitor sends the young artist.
Can grandparents view it without signing up?
Yes. Each gallery has its own invitation link; anyone who receives it opens the exhibition from their email and views it with no app install and no account. A nickname is enough to leave a note, an emoji reaction, or a gift.
Is a child's data safe?
Every gallery is private by default and never indexed by a search engine. Only people with the invitation link can enter, and a photo’s GPS location is stripped the moment it is uploaded. The only details collected are the child’s name (a nickname is fine) and year of birth, and database-level access control means no family can ever see another’s data.
How is it proven that a work is really my child’s?
When a work is registered it receives a “MYMIMU Original” certificate. Who made it and when is permanently protected against tampering, and anyone can verify it from the certificate’s QR code with no login. You can also download it as a PDF to frame.
What about a crooked photo of a drawing?
That is fine. A sheet photographed at an angle is straightened automatically and the yellow cast of indoor light is corrected to the paper’s true colour. The correction never alters the original — it is stored separately and can be undone at any time.
